Gabala – Petrolul - 2:0 (1:0)

Gabala”s first team have beaten Petrolul of Rumania in their fourth testing match of the Antalya training camp.

The squad of Ramiz Mammadov included:

Anar Nazirov, Valentic, Omar Kalabane, Dejan Kelhar, Pulhak, Amit Guluzadeh, Aleksandr Chertoganov, Rashad Abdullayev, Dodo, Victor Mendy, Yannick Kamanan.

The match started by exploring attacks and Gabala got the possession more regularly. It led to their opening goal in the 7th minute when Yannick Kamanan powered Dodo”s telegraph past the opponent keeper. In the half-time, Kamanan looked more likely to score his second but he was off the target.

The rivals seemed to be faster after the restart with quick attacks and some threats. But Gabala”s defensive line held on. And with 10 minutes left, our team scored their second as Rashad Abdullayev fired the ball that no any keeper can beat – 2:0. It was the result that put Gabala to be the better team.

Now our first team are expected to face another Romanian team Steaua on Wednesday to kick off at 20:30 in Baku time.
