Gabala 3:1 Neftchi, Reserves Championship

Gabala reserves keep up winning with the league 12th tour match against Neftchi. The 3rd victory in a row was gained at home. The squad of Luis Aragon were up to the win.

The pace of the match started with quick inroads of the home side into the visitor defence. Gabala got the possession at the all lines. It was seemed just a matter of time before their opening goal in the 18th minute by Tellur Mutallibov being perfect with his chance.

The hosts kept their pressures progressing into their second goal 20 minutes later, when Elsevar Bakirzadeh sealed the result of the half – 2:0.

Getting a momentum in the second period, Neftchi minimized the difference at the scoresheet just a minute after the hour mark. Fahmin Muradbayli gave a boost to the hopes of his teammates. But in the next 22 minutes, Gabala fed back their 3rd with Shahriyar Khalilov scoring in the winner- 3:1. The result means Gabala fortify their place in the top six.
