Gabala substitutes hit the title of champions 4 tours away from the season end. Ramin Guliyev”s squad beat Neftchi 4:0 in the 32nd tour to extend their point difference from Sumgayit to 13.
The first season experience of the coach is making history for Gabala earning the gold medals. After taking a poor start to the season, the red-black team had given a sharp bounce from the last place on the league table into the unbeaten streak that guided them to the UEFA Youth campaign. They gained 11 victories in their all 14 matches, including 3 draws.
Gabala forwards Ehtiram Shahverdiyev and Ramil Hasanov standing on top of the scorers wth, respectively, 20 and 17 goals.
Some substitutes appeared aslo in first team games during the season.
