Gabala signed Rasim Ramaldanov for the second half of the season. The 32-year-old built up his career in Azerbaijan playing for Simurg (2008-2013), Khazar Lankaran (2013-2015) and Sumgayit (2016). He was also an overseas player in Georgia playing for Kolkheti as his last club abroad. Ramaldanov appeared in seventeen matches for Azerbaijan national team after his debut for the provisional squad in 2012.
