Gabala signing Gurbanov

SC Gabala is making a 2-year deal with Ruslan Gurbanov, who is playing for the Azerbaijan national team, to strengthen the forward line. The 25-year-old, was born in Russia and produced by Dinamo Stavropol.
Gurbanov played also for Rostov (2008-2010), Nika (2008, on lease) and Taganrog (2009, on lease) before being transferred to Azerbaijan in 2010 to play for Neftchi up to the 2011-2013 season when he joined up with Sumgayit. He also took on lease with HNK Hajduk Split (Croatia) in 2015.
Ruslan scored 28 goals in his all 119 Azerbaijan Premier League matches, also winning the domestic championship in the 2010-2011 season and cup in 2013-2014.
Now he is preparing to the away match against San-Marino for the Azerbaijan provisional squad.
It is worth to notice Ruslan took on his debut for the national team in 2015 where he appeared 11 times. He also played for the national U21.
