Gabala have signed Theo Lewis Weeks from the Liberia national team to reinforce the midfielder line. Playing for Ermis (Cyprus) is supposed to add quality to the first team for the next year. The 26-year-old footballer came on 19 matches for the Liberian national team, after 2008, where he scored one goal.

Weeks played also for Vatanqa in 2007 before leaving to Turkey for 5 years when he joined up with Ankaraspor (today”s Osmanlispor), Ankaraguju, Chaykur Rizaspor and Goztapa. He scored a single goal in his all 50 appearances in the Superleague, as well as came on 46 games in the Premier League. In 2013, Theo signed for Maritimo (Portugal) for the next 2 years where scored 5 goals in 35 games.

After transferring to Ermis last summer, Weeks lapped up plaudits for 2 goals in his 27 appearances in the Cyprus Premier League.

Now the Liberian player is the second transfer before the next season starts as SC Gabala signed also Filip Ozobic from Croatia.
