Gabala hit their 100th domestic league victory beating Garabagh 1:0 in the 24th tour away after 261 matches of the championship. Namig Alasgarov”s own goal reached the red-black side to their jubilee win in the history of the club including also 64 draws and 98 defeats.

Gabala took their first-ever victory with the same 1:0 away result over Shahdagh Gusar on 26 August 2006, when the team was called Gilan. The 50th win arrived with the home match against Mughan on 19 May 2011.
