Gabala 2:1 Oryol

Gabala U12 have had their successful first-leg match of the Young Talents Cup – 2012 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Our team beat Oryol of Russia 2:1 in the group stage of the international tournament.

The Gabala talents started well and got the possession since the opening minutes as it seemed just a matter of time before Orkhan Abdullayev scored in the 5th minute. He was fine with the kick past the Oryol keeper from Samir Gurbanov – 1:0. Gabala kept up the sustained period of pressure that led to their second goal. Tabriz Isazadeh scored over the opponent keeper with the perfect effort from the far post on 11 minutes. But Oryol hit their first just before the break – 15th minute.

In the second half, the sides were unable to score one more although some chances for both. But after the game, it was Gabala appearing to be the better team at the first-leg of the Young Talents Cup – 2012.
