Azerbaijan national taekwondo team won the World Cup in Baku. Gabala Sport Club’s Mahammad Mammadov (63 kg) and Milad Beigi Harchegani (80 kg) became a part of the great result. After beating Belgium with 27:8 and USA with 42:4 in the Group B, the team gained a tally to the semifinal where they won over Turkey with 33:3 before defeating South Korea by 21:5 in the all-important round.

This is the second successive World Champion title of the provisional squad.
