Gabala"s Elvin Mammadov, 68 kg, gained silver from the 25th Fajr taekwondo tournament of men in capital Tehran of Iran. It is not the only medal the 4-fighter national team of Azerbaijan earned in Tehran. Radik Isayev (+80 kg) hit his gold as Fariz Aliyev (68 kg) earned his bronze. The contest was held on Olympic weights classes.
