SC Gabala has earned 2 medals from the 21st Alpe Adria Championship in Lignano Sabbiadoro, Italy. Being a part of the Azerbaijan national team, Ismayil Ibrahimov under 60 kg and Rufat Taghyzadeh with the same weight were of all the 988 judokas at the joined the contest. Ibrahimov could hit a silverware while Taghyzadeh earned a bronze medal.

With total 9 medals, the Azerbaijan squad are sitting on top of the tournament.
