Gabala Football Academy are going into the first away of the season with U15, born in 2000, leaving to capital Vilnius of Lithuania to attend Ateitis Cup 2014 from Thursday to Sunday. Joining the international tournament, the academy aims to develop the team into better practice.
The staff under the lead of Mehman Yunusov left to the Baltic country on Wednesday. Gabala will appear amongst 12 teams listed in 2 groups.
Gabala in the B group are going to face Orbita, Minsk (both from Belarus), Dinamo (Kiev, Ukraine), National Football Academy (Lithuania) and Feniks (Kaunas, Latvia). Following the A group, it includes Barcelona Football Academy, (Spain), Ateitis (Lithuania), SHFS (Riga, Latvia), Lokomotiv (Saint Petersburg of Russia), Smena, BATE (both from Belarus).
Gabala”s first leg is fixed to Friday to face
Feniks. The match will get under way at 13:50 with Baku time before coming on their next tie against National Football Academy at 16:35. The red-black side will go to their last game of the day to play against Dinamo Kiev at 18:20.
The next day will bring Gabala to meet Minsk at 13:50 before facing Orbita at 19:40. Winners of the round will take the contest into more important stage to test each other on Sunday.
