Gabala's U-13 today have won a comfortable victory over Ventspils of Latvia in Riga Open Cup 2012 competition - 3:1. It was the first match of our teenagers in the tournament.

Kickers opening up a three-point gap on the table are Murad Gayali, Farid Nabiyev and Ilkin Abdullayev

The second match-up of the day ended in a goalless draw against Dinamo Riga of Latvia that means Gabala is the leader of the day.

Shows coming-up next are against Jelgava and Super Nova, both from Latvia, on Tuesday.

Because of the heavy snowing in Latvia, some teams were not able to visit capital Riga, which forces the contest of U-13 to be held only between six teams-- Gabala, Ventspils, Riga, Dinamo Riga, Yelgava and Super Nova. They all will come up against each other the winner to be determined.
