Gabala coach Sanan Gurbanov talks to media reporters right after the 3:0 victory on Sabail in the first tie of the 2018/19 season. The 38-year-old boss says:

“The first tie of the season was of much importance for us. We wanted to take victory and were all to this. I appreciate my team’s warm performance.

We played against renewed Sabail. There are some good players in the opponent team and I wish Sabail successes over the season.

We set up some many occasions but were able to score only three goals. We set up our tactics that James Adeniyi to play on the forward line and be supported by Asif Mammadov with flank defenders. And we believe in Rauf Aliyev. He was active after being introduced”.
