“The team are having high confidence and the atmosphere is really good. We were close to the win in a match against Simurg but the goal in the closing stage put us in a difficult situation. Now the players are fully focused on wining tomorrow”s game against Baku”, -- says the head coach of Gabala Luis Aragon just a day before the 26th tour of the Topaz Premier League.
The Spanish specialist believes Gabala will try and beat the capital city team to bounce ahead from all earlier deficits:
“Although the team was in a good form, the result of the last game a bit disappointed them. And now we are working on recovery of the confidence with trainings and better results from upcoming matches. I am convinced that we will come with this digging into the mission”.
Spaniard Aragon also talks about FC Baku and reveals some lacks in our side:
“I have watched and analyzed some performances of Baku where we can see some high-level legionnaires and native players. Our rivals are kind of team toiling to have the ball possession. It is supposed to be a difficult game but I believe Gabala will try and beat the capital city team to bounce ahead from all earlier deficits. And we have some lacks in the staff with Oumar Kalabane for his yellow card limit, as well as with Jeyhun Sultanov and Vurghun Huseynov, who are injured”.
