Gabala are going to return to trainings this Friday ending the break after the last domestic league season ended. The first stage of the preparations to the next 2016-2017 season will get underway in Baku Football Club”s training base. They will be dwelling at the Qafqaz City Hotel up to June 15, just a day before leaving to Tbilisi, Georgia, for the 2nd part of the plan to go on 10 days. During the period, Gabala will have 3 trial matches, including one against FC Dila Gori (Georgia) on June 18, 4 days before meeting FC Sioni Bolnisi (Georgia). The 3rd side is yet undeturned.

Beoing created in 1994, Dila Gori could snatch a bronze medal of the Georgian Premier League hitting tally to the UEFA Europa League campaign. They also were able to progress into the semifinal of the somestic cup. Dila also are having the Georgian champion title of the 2014-2015 season, as well as the domestic cup of the 2011-2012 season.

Sioni Bolnisi, founded in 1936, also earned tally to the contoinental campaign after losing to Dinamo Tbilisi 0:1. They ended the last season 5th.

The team from Bolinisi hit the Georgian Premier League championship (2005/2006), domestic cup (2003) and Supercup (2006).
