Gabala’s Filip Ozobic talks to gabalafc.az sharing his impressions about the Austria training camp started from June 7 and still going. After four trial matches, the Croatian midfielder says:

“We passed a bigger part of the training camp and it is going really well. All the footballers work out in their best. We tested ourselves through four testing games. I think we played really well against Akhmat from Russia. It is just our fortunate didn’t worked that day.

And following the cup where we played against MOIK (Bulgaria) and Vakker (Austria), we had just two days after the friendly against Akhmat and we felt really tired. Every testing game is a vital part of the preparations. Now we are going to come on our last trial match in Austria against Ludogorets (Bulgaria). It will be of much interest as the opponent side are really strong.”

Gabala are going to start to their fourth experience in the UEFA Europa League from the 2nd Qualifying Round. Ozobic commends about the drawing results for the round, saying:

“There are no easy opponents in the EL. Gabala will be really well prepared to the 2nd Qualifying Round. It doesn’t matter who comes as a better side after the Jagellonia vs. Dinamo Batumi tie. Gabala have only to think their own match. We should play a good display to take this stage. It’s not significant where the firs tie will be.

Jagiellonia were all for the Polish Premier League trophy up to the last tour. This is a good evidence that they are really a strong side. I have not a deep information about the Georgian side but we will analyze both teams.

There are some many changes in our staff and this is a common case in football. We'll try and make our fans happy getting a foothold in the group stage of the EL. Gabala will push harder to hit this target.”
