Today, Gabala have taken their last trial match, the second one, within the Slovenia training camp against Maribor.

The red-black squad included: 

Kamran Aghayev, Ruslan Taghizadeh, Volodimir Levin, Rafael Santos, Elnur Allahverdiyev, Ruslan Abishov, Adrian Ropotan, Dodo, Nizami Hajiyev, Elvin Jamalov, Victor Mendy.

The game got underway at 21:00 with Baku time with faster attacks of Gabala led to opening the scoring in the 14th minute. Rafael Santos finished clinically with a header having a free-kick ball from Ruslan Abbasov.

Both sides could have scored more in the further minutes but the scoresheet stayed static and Gabala earned the victory over the champion team of Slovenia just before the Euro League game against Siroki Brijeg.

Now Gabala have ended with the Slovenia training camp and are returning back home tomorrow, Friday.
