Gabala won over Kapaz from Ganja 1:0 in the 9th tie to progress their unbeaten run into the 15th league tour. The pace of the home match started by fast attacks from Gabala holding most spaces on the pitch. The red-black side could hardly cut through the visiting team”s defense and opened the scoring with Zetc in the 6th minute. It was the debut goal by the Bosnian and Herzegovinian footballer for Gabala. The Roman Grigorchuk squad pushed hard to going one more ahead with long-range shots. But Kapaz held on clear.
After the restart, Gabala kept again looking for spaces in the opponent defense as the visitors backed on counter attacks. And the home side also stayed clear. The result left Gabala moving on to the 2nd place on the league table.
