Gabala met Garabagh in away of the Topaz  Premier League 12th tour that was of high importance for both sides to earn the lead on the table. So the game run much warmly as it was expected to be.

The game stared by mutual checkup attacks for the early 10 minutes. The first threat came up from Gelashvili of Garabagh in the 12th minute with off-target shot. Two minutes later, Gabala fed back with Subotic shooting the ball out of the pitch over the woodwork. Victor Mendy came under the spotlight in the 20th minute failing to fire home with follow-up effort after encounter attack of the red-black side. 

The home side were able to open the scoring on 26 minutes when Gelashvili shot home the ball returned our keeper denied Haji Ahmadov. Garabagh doubled their lead in the 37th minute with Vugar Nadirov deflecting in the pass from Gelashvili. The home side left the half on top. 
The restart got underway with two substitutions when Yuri Semin sent off Amit Guluzadeh to introduce Nizami Hajiyev and pulled out Victor Mendy to present Leonardo Da Silva. After the changes, Gabala got momentum gradually but it was Garabagh again going one more ahead in the 50th minute when the Georgian player made his double- 3:0.

Dodo looked close to lower the difference on the scoresheet but he targeted right on the keeper. In return, Garabagh reached their lead up to the 4th goal with Marinaldo hit the ball right home from free kick. 

The minutes left run more warmly as Gabala surged forward after the 4th goal. Our team gained the momentum led to the 72nd minute goal.  Meeting the telegraph from Dodo, Lorenzo Ebecilio gave a trouble to the net of Garabagh - 4:1. The goal prompted the squad of Yuri Semin to step up their attacks more to score their second in the 78th minute. Leonardo Da Silva found the way home by his long range shot. 

At time, the home side looked lost and Gabala took benefits from this earning their 3rd goal. Pass from Subotic was converted in by Dodo in the 5 minutes left. 

Then Gabala worked hard to level after the resilient show in the last 14 minutes, but their efforts were deflected by Rashad Sadygov. In another episode, the host keeper gave a great save to his team denying our forward line. With another moment, Subotic"s effort swift wide of goal.

So it was really a great resilience from Gabala in the closing stage although we lost the game.
