Garabagh statistics- first of season, 40th ever

With the 11th tour of the Topaz Premier League, Gabala finally broke the deadlock of the 6-game winless streak beating Garabagh 2:1 in away. The squad of Ramiz Mammad were desperate for victory in 66 days after our last win over Sumgayit 4:1 on 26 August. In this period, we played in 3 defeats and 3 more draws.
It is the first away win in the season after the final tour match of the previous period on 11 May, which finished in 1:0 victory over Neftchi 173 days ago. The away win on Garabagh in Baku just was gained after 3 drawings and 2 losses.
The Garabagh tie is the first victory of Ramiz Mammadov after his comeback as a coach. He was held on the unsuccessful line of 3 drawings and 1 defeat. Gabala had got their last win, over Baku 1:0, in the helm of Mammadov on 1st May 2010 before winless row of 2 and 4 games, respectively, of then and current seasons.
