Gabala coach Roman Grigorchuk came on a press conference just ahead of the UEFA EL 1st qualifying round match against Samtredia (Georgia) to kick off at 9:00 P.M. AZT Thursday, June 30 at the Bakcell Arena, Baku. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“We have prepared as well as possiple in a short time. The Tbilisi training camp run really well. And I still can"t tell how strong we are today as there are some changes in the squad. But I am satisfied by the new players with their movements on the pitch. They respond well to our needs and style. I hope to see this once again tomorrow.

We have not much alternative lineups for tomorrow. And we believe in some young players the produced by the club. But they not all are ready to this game. Beyond some exceptions with the players joined up late, my squad are ready to tomorrow”s match. I am convinced we will be able to show better result.

We picked some new players for the forward line who well understand our style and are ready to show this tomorrow.

We also leared much about the opponent side by detailed analyze. Samtredia are quite good side with some footballers with individual qualities. The correspondence is very high in the squad that might make up really challenge to us. But we can cope with this. The fate of the match will be depending on our display on the forward.

I see no favorite side for this match and just 2 teams with the same level will face. So we are having equal chances and I thinks the side preapared better will win.

Gabala will play in their best to take the victory. I am sure my all players are optimistic about this.
