Grigorchuk- I wish them to make fewer mistakes

Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media reporters right after the 1:1 draw against Neftchi in the first game of the Azerbaijan Cup semifinal. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“I am not satisfied by the result of the night. We should have taken the game with high scoring. One of the reasons was being unable to convert some many occasions into goal.

Another reason was some charges by the referees that ruined our performance. They took at least 15 points from us with their not right orders and kept us off from the victory. In respect to the referees, I wish them to make fewer mistakes for the further matches and respond to the respect from Gabala.

I want to draw all the football community attention to the cases that we are being suffered from last times. Within such situation, I lose my job potential.

I am not satisfied by Oleksiy Antonov”s performance but will keep my support on him for progress.

Our most important challenge is that we could not change the occasions into scoring. I feel sympathy in Neftchi although they don”t deserve the current low place. So I should praise my team for a better performance against such strong rivals.

I replaced Rashad Eyyubov because of we went to 10 and the defensive line needed to be reinforced. But it doesn”t mean he plays not well. Ehtiram Shahverdiyev is having a great potential. We believe in him and will support him for developing to much higher level.

And Dodo is under treatment now and I don”t have any idea about Greek clubs are interested about him. I hope he will be a part of Gabala”s future achievements after being recovered”.
