Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to gabalafc.az right after the 3:3 draw with Altyn Asyr from Turkmenistan within the Antalya training camp in Turkey.
“The course of the match did not work out in our favor. After we missed some many chances of scoring, the game went not in good way. So we faced difficulties and run 2 goals behind in the half. But I was much interested in the situation waiting for my team to come out clear. Now the squad showed a good character leveling the goals. And this is really an important moment.
“After the half-time, we took the lead and showing resilience, Gabala could be saved from defeat” – told the skipper of Gabala.
The Ukrainian skipper also adds about the targets for the second period of the league season, saying:
“We cannot pretend anything now as the target is to gain a tally to the European Cup. We should go 10 points ahead on the league table for this. Although it is not easy mission, we will be all for reaching up to this”.
