Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks right after the return match win (1:0) over Apollon (Cyprus) within the 3rd Qualifying Round of the UEFA EL. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“We are really happy being able to reach to the play-off round, as well as making happy also our fans with a great victory. I appreciate all supporting us and being perfect at the night.

It was not easy to play against Apollon at all as they are very fast. And Gabala played not bad although our performance was not ideal too. Anyway we could strike the result we need. But we also allowed some mistakes in our technical plan with some players giving themselves to emotion.

The play-off round is a difficult round and it will be different challenge for us as Javid Huseynov and Urfan Abbasov will not turn up in the starting lineup. But there are some professional substitutes in Gabala.

I feel really good in Azerbaijan as I see here only friendly people and respects”.
