Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks at the press conference right after the 2:0 victory over Qarabagh in the 7th tour leg of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The Ukrainian boss says:
“My team made themselves proud tonight. Although it was not perfect, this was of what I wish to see. We played really fine in the half. Then Qarabagh stepped up their inroads into our defense but this did not force us to the back line. Well done to my squad this night. We are staying stick to our plan to progress into forthcoming matches.
I think to drive much benefits from the break for the national championships as we were playing in a heavy match table.
I don”t see any problem in our players” physical form. We just introduce more prepared footballers and making no difference between domestic and foreign players.
There are really good footballers in Azerbaijan as we have seen some of them in both sides today. I can say Gabala”s Urfan Abbasov, Mahammad Mirzabayov, Asif Mammadov and Rashad Sadigov are a part of the better domestic footballers. Rashad is a phenomenal player for my opinion. Elvin was really good tonight and Asif is getting more better gradually. But we still have to work on us”.
