Roman Grigorchuk has added new forward Ruslan Fomin for the 4th transfer ahead of the second period of the league season after Rashad Sadigov, Aleksey Gay and Dmitri Bezotosny. Ukrainian Fomin, 1986-year-born, signed 6-month deal for the red-black team leaving Chernomorets Odessa.
His football career was built playing for FC Arsenal Xarkiv during 2002-2005 before joining Shakhtar Donetsk for his next 6 months. He also spent his time with Metallist, Zorya and Illichivets. Then he kept up running for the latter side by the summer of 2014.
Playing also for Ukraine”s U19 and U21, Ruslan earned his best successes for Shakhtar reaching up to UEFA Cup of 2008/09. His has ore possession with Ukrainian Cup of 2005/06 and 2009/10, as well as silver medal of 2008/09, bronze of 2006/07 and 2007/08. The forward also gained European Cup silver medal in 2006.
