Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media reporters right after the 2:1 away win over Neftchi in the 24th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The Ukrainian skipper says:
“We started to the game under really much pressure. My team withdrawing after every attack just like they had to do. Our players felt suffered from some difficulties as there were some many fast footballers in the opponent side.
We discussed the case in the half-time to change the course of the match. And this let us show better performance in the 2nd period although it was not of the highest order.
Elvin Jamalov is going faster in his progress and appears in the lineup because of his level relevant to the premier league. I asked about his condition in his injured episode and he performed as a brave footballer.
The red card was the followup case after we kept the opponents under sustained period of pressure and forced them to fouling.
One substitute was able to score as the other was a great part of the goal occasion. All worked out well and my team responded well to the task.
Rashad Eyyubov was the first time on the forward and he satisfied my hope on his position”.
