Gabala coach Roman Grigorchuk ended his time üith SC Gabala after 1:0 loss to Keshla in the last domestic cup final. The sides came to the decision not to extend the contract period in a meeting between the Ukrainian and the club administrative board.

Grigorchuk took the coaching charge in the early 2015 and guided Gabala to league silverwares of two seasons (2016/17, 2017/18), two bronze medals (2014/15, 2015/16) and two cup final (2016/17, 2017/18). The red-black team made their way also through three UEFA Europa League experiences developing up to the group stage in the seasons of 2015/16 and 2016/17. SC Gabala appreciates Grigorchuk on his all work for the first team during 2015-2018 and wishes all the best in the future of his life and football career.
