Grigorchuk: “Gabala are still a promising side”

Gabala coach Roman Grigorchuk talks for a post-match reaction right after the 1:2 home loss to Neftchi within the 18th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“I feel bad now and know the team are in the same mood. I told them to live the this match with their best. I can’t remember any day with so much mass in my football life like today. We lost four players before the match and set up occasion against our own goal during the game. And we picked up red and yellow cards. Ruslan Gurbanov’s injury is supposed to be serious. But anyway I’m not complain and looking forward not to break our confidence. One another down moment is that we have seen really many fans at the pitch today as they came just to watch a good performance. Following Vitaliy Vernydub with occasion for an opponent side’s scoring for a second match in a row, I had a talk with him after the last own goal. I believe in him as a useful player for the team. If we keep him off the starting line-up, we can’t imagine his psychological condition. Gabala are still a promising side and I felt this both before the match and in early minutes of the game.”
