Gabala”s head coach roman Grigorchuk talks to media reporters right after the 23rd tour match of the Azerbaijan Premier League against Khazar Lankaran (0:0). The Ukrainian skipper says:

“I shook my players” hands just like after every matches. They were really working hard to show their best but the team were unable to score. I did not make them upset for the result and told them keep your head up. This match was of those that it was impossible not to win. The opponent side were all to win and held on strongly against Gabala. But although this, we could have some many chances to score and could not drive benefits from them.

I tried to make change in the course of the game and introduced Asif Mammadov and Ricardinho. We were stepping up the pressure and inroads in the closing minutes. I regret only for the result as we could have taken the victory.

Now Gabala need to keep going and win each matches if we are to stand any chance of extending our points”.
