Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media reporters ahead of the return match against Samtredia (Georgia) in the 1st Qualifying Round of the UEFA EL fixed to Thursday, July 7. The Ukrainian skipper says:
“We are expected by a really difficult game tomorrow and we are working out hard for the fixture. We always try to perform a productive show and I hope it will be the same tomorrow, too.
I am satisfied by the newly transferred players and waiting for them to add more quality to the team responding to our needs.
We don”t believe that Theo Weeks will have not score tomorrow. I want to see him finding a way into the opponent net, as well as Bagali Dabo and other forwards. A footballer gets more confidence after every goal.
I don”t think the turf is terrible at the opponent”s pitch although its situation changed a little to down after playing under raining. But we hope the staff responsible to this will fix it in their best and the pitch will oppose no challenge to both Gabala and our opponents.
I have never seen how the possible opponents in the next round play. I see no difference between Kazakhstan or Hungary sides as they both are strong rivals. But we have not talk about this much as we are focused only on tomorrow”s event”.
