Gabala head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media reporters right after the 2:1 loss to Panathinaikos (Greece) in the 3rd Qualifying Round of the UEFA El. The Ukrainian boss says:

“There were some matches we opened scoring and then conceded goals. But in some other games we opned scoring and took game, too. But this time, we lost after scoring first. It is only the opponents coused to our loss as they kept us out of our better performance. Panathinaikos were playing really perfectly tonight. They were the better side with quicker attacks and individual skills.

It’s impossible to comment how the loss in EL will affect to our further go in the the domestic league. I prefer quick football and good combination in match. We need a forward like Victor Mendy. In his time, I didn’t feel a deep lack in forward like today. We need a player capable to catch and keep a ball in forward. There is such a player in Panathinaikos and he is Gilyerme Molins. In other case, you have to go back to defense after a forward loses a ball. But better attacker is who keeps the ball and waits for his teammates to come out ahead. But we lack such a footballer for last two years.

We have to complete setting up the team. I don’t think there is any legionary over the limit. There is no any abnormal result while we defeated to stronger side”.
