Grigorchuk - "These matches are of good practices for us"

Gabala head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media ahead of the UEFA EL’s 3rd Qualifying Round match against Panathinaikos in Athens, Greece. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“It was a good practice to play against Panathinaikos two years ago. But now, it has no significance with tomorrow’s game. Two fully updated teams are going to face tomorrow. Gabala changed much after two years. We know much about the opponent side. But we can’t predict the tie’s result, but it’s really interesting to imagine the result.

We know Panathinaikos changed many two years after our last tie. We gathered detailed information even every individual footballer, as well as new transfers. I feel normally about the drawing event always as I understand that we are a common team in the continental football. So ever European team is a strong side for us. Panathinaikos are keeping a great brand name. It’s a nice practice to face them. These matches are of good practices for us.

And I don’t consider the first tie’s venue as a positive or negative point while it’s not a significant concern”.
