Gabala’s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks for his reaction after the 1:0 loss to Neftchi in the 22nd tour match of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The Ukrainian boss says:
“It was a difficult match just like we expected. It’s hard to score in such tough experiences. But we gained some chances in the first half. One of the reasons to the loss is failing on these chances. Sure, it is difficult to believe that it was Gabala conceded the goal with a basic mistake. We went to lack of two domestic players Ruslan Gurbanov and Rashad Sadigov in a last moment. To introduce Bagaliy Dabo we did another change because of the foreign players’ limit. The result could have been different if our line-up was fine.
I can’t say anything about the aggression by Rafael Santos as I know him as a kind man. The national team players were playing not in their best except Javid Huseynov. I’m proud of my players performing for their national squads, but young footballers like Tellur Mutallimov appear not fitting to the team after getting back from the provisional to the club. If my players stand for becoming a real footballer, they have to be good both for national and club teams”.
