Gabala head coach Roman Grigorchuk and forward Bagali Dabo talk to media just a day before the home match against Anderlecht (Belgium) in the fifth tour of the UEFA Europa League’s Group C. The Ukrainian skipper says:
“Although we have no chance to the round of 32 line-up, we still want to show a good display tomorrow. Every EL match is a great experience for us. We well understand that our all rivals are stronger than us, but yet we are having a chance of victory in the group. Gabala’s hopes over the next round have been swept away by our costly mistake in the match against Saint-Etienne. But this time we have to allow no mistakes and the things should work out to our favor. Injured Bagali Dabo and Nika Kvekveskiri are already back to the team. But Sergei Zenjov will not be able to come on the pitch. This time the EL match chance will be open to those footballers who had little experience in previous games. We want to see how well our players are ready. Actually, it is a great chance for players to increase their experience through six games of the group stage. They may draw attention from other groups for a good performance. This moment promotes the team’s motivation to high level.
Anderlecht are off their best performance in the last events and this means we are in a better mood than the opponent side. But the more important in football is to be smarter with better skills than opponents”.
French footballer Dabo adds:
I am fully ready to the match against Anderlecht and I will play in my best. Although I have been off the pitch for a long time treatment, I will go all out to take the victory”.
