Grigorchuk - This is not a first case

Gabala head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media at the post-match press conference right after the 2:1 loss to Qarabagh. The Ukrainian skipper say:

“It was a real quality match tonight. We have watched a cracking show between two strong sides. It is worth to feel proud of such a great performance.

Following the referee issue, I talked much about this last year, too. I have been trying to be patient as I sensed what would be happening. So this is not a first case and I don’t want to talk about this much again. Right now I just want to go home but in this situation it is very difficult and I have to stay stuck to me team now. I love my squad and I will stay with them and the administrative board.

Azerbaijan referees can control game really well. But you don’t know what to say when the referee appoints penalty after the ball hits our player’s face and later the opponent aggressively hits our footballer.

I congratulate Qarabagh on their victory in my respect to this team, their coach and all staff. My team had no intention to leave the pitch before the final whistle and I just want us to get out before any mess on the field.

Sure the goal we allowed in the stoppage time is not a contradiction as we gave some mistakes during the match, and the goals happened just in the closing minutes”.
