Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks right after the goalless draw against Panathinaikos in the 1st play-off match of the UEFA EL in Baku. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“Tonight, Gabala performed the better show than most of the earlier games. Sure, we would want the result to be better as we are really capable to earn this. But anyway I am satisfied by my team”s performance this evening as they have played in their best, especially in the 2nd half of the 1st period.

We were unable to set up more occasions against the opponents. Aleksey Antonov played well tactically and I changed him when he was tired.

The 1st game show shortages that we need to work hard on. We should keep the ball in the center more and develop the defense to make them stronger, as well as fasten our attacks.

This lineup played well, but we still need same footballer to help the team be stronger, and it is not easy”.
