Grigorchuk - We come on all matches just for victory

Gabala”s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks to media reporters right after the 3:0 home win over AZAL in the fifth tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“Although our defensive performance is on a high level, there are still some lack and we have to deal with. Rafael Santos, who is out of the line-up of 18 in this match, is really a valuable player for Gabala. We believe in him to help us more. The wing players changed their positions just following episode and this was not a special step to make any vital difference.

Petar Franjic stayed out of the game in our special purpose to field someone, too, who has not to stay out during the full time. I don”t think he made any mistakes in the last league game against Neftchi.

Although Gismat Aliyev plays beyond our expectation, we have not to make any decision about him and have to be patient to give him more chances. Roman Huseynov performed quite well tonight. This was more than happiness we shared after the goal.

We don”t set any difference between the domestic league and UEFA as each match of the continental campaign is a vital event. People think Gabala normally have to win over Mainz and Saint-Etienne. But they just need to consider that these team play at top championships and it is a great experience to play against them even they sit 30th in the contests.

The domestic league also is a much important contest and we come on all the league, cup and UEFA Eurocup matches just for victory.

And it is still too early to talk about Mainz as we are focused on the next league game against Sumgayit”.
