Gabala’s head coach Roman Grigorchuk talks for a post-match reaction right after the 4:3 victory over Inter Baku in the 27th tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The Ukrainian skipper says:

“You have to be a side with better skills to finish on the top of the Azerbaijan Premier League. But unfortunately, we lost some many chances in our better performances that is a part of the reason why we were unable to be the champions. There were tens of occasions that we failed to convert into goal. Gabala made themselves proud this season. They played well also in the league. There were some many games that we were evidently better side.

We gave up some mistakes tonight again, although the victory. We analyze all the matches of the contest. I was a champion with some other teams, too. But then there were not such many occasions. We were champions on our less occasions. You have to be a winning side always if you are to stand for the trophy.

I can say on my experience that cup games go different way on football experience. We still are having the chance and will push harder to taking the cup. We will be all for being better than the opponent”.
