Gurbanov ended his time with Gabala

Gabala coach Sanan Gurbanov announced his resignation right after the 4:0 loss to Keshla in the 3rd tour of the Azerbaijan Premier League. The club’s administrative board admitted his resignation.

Gurbanov took a charge as an assistant coach for Gabala in 2012 and was appointed as the head coach in summer of 2018. Before the appointment, he had three match experiences as a head coach replacing some skippers. It was a part of his all 43 appearances as a head coach. He guided the team to 15 victories following also 11 draws and 17 losses. Gurbanov’s team hit the Azerbaijan Cup trophy of the last season.
