Gabala head coach Sanan Gurbanov talks to Gabala TV about the draw of the UEFA Europa League’s 1st qualifying round. The 38-year-old shares his impression on the fixture against Progres (Luxemburg). The red-black boss says:
“There were five possible opponents before the draw. They were almost at the same level and similar sides. Progres are really a strong side could knock out Rangers from Scotland last season. But now we are having almost same chances. We will fix the preparation plan fitting today’s situation. Details about the rivals should be gathered every day.
It’s a basic loss for Gabala as Javid Huseynov will be off the team for the match day. There are some lacks on some positions and we will try and fill them with same-level footballers. Every single training session and every day is a basic importance for us as we are very short time away from the first tie against the Hungarian side. It doesn’t matter where the first match will be held, at home or in away as the more important is to be well prepared to the game. We have to build a good form in the training program before the first tie.
