Azerbaijan’s Gabala karate challenger Rafiz Hasanov won the bronze medal of the Karate1 Premier League in Paris, France. The red-black challenger, 67 kg, beat Amir Mehdizadeh (Iran) with 2:1 in his first leg. Then he lost to Luca Maresca (Italy) by 1:4 before the consolation match where he won on Marvin Gari (France) with 4:3 and Jihwan Lee (Korea) with 2:0. Then Hasanov went to the next challenge and took the bronze medal after beating Vinicius Figueira (Brazil) with 4:2.
