He came to score - Simurg statistics

The last Saturday match (1:1) against Simurg sealed some records for Gabala. So, our first-leg game in the new 2012/13 season:

- is the 30th draw of our all away games, totally 116th. There are 23 league draws besides 3 cup and more 4 first division matches.

- gave 5th league draw to Kavlak in his 21st performance as a Gabala coach.

- allowed the team of Kavlak to score the 15th away goal in their 12th outing.

- is the 4th match that Gabala are unbeaten after their 1:2 away loss to Inter in the 29th round of the last league season. We played three of them in the closing stage of the season, with Baku (4:0), Khazar-Lenkoran (1:1) and and Neftchi (1:0)
- is the 3rd first-leg match of the last three seasons that Gabala can not take a win. They were prevented with matches against Khazar-Lenkoran (0:1) in 2010/11 and Baku (0:0) in 2011/12. Gabala managed their last winning start only to the 2009/10 season, when they beat Simurg 2:1, exactly the opponents we started the current season with.

- allowed 5 players to come on for their first in the Gabala uniform.

- introduced Costa Silva Diego, Kalabane Umar, Lourival Rodrigues Assis, Rashad Abdullayev and Dejan Kelhar to make the number of Gabala debutants reach up to 137.

- let Diego and Assis to rise up the number of Brazilians in Gabala to eight.

- brought Kalabane to be the 2nd from Guinea after Abdulkader Kamara.

- The all 137 footballers include 76 domestic and other 61 legionnaires.

- Rashad Abdullayev is the 76th of the all aboriginal players of Gabala.

- introduced Kelhar to be the first Slovenian footballer playing for Gabala in the club history, also 27th country name representing:
Georgy (9), Brazil (8), Russia (6), Serbia and Ukraine (both with 5), Moldova (3), Holland, Bulgaria, Rumania, Guinea (each with 2), Argentina, Bosnia and Herzegovina, England, Iran, Congo, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Ivory Coast, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Jamaica, Scotland, France and Slovenia (each with 1). Six of those 61 foreigners have been already nationalized, but they still are considered as representatives of their original countries.

- reached the number of league players of Gabala to 122.

- provided Kelhar to be the 70th player scoring for Gabala, together with more six auto goals. The Slovenian also is the 51st league scorer.

- Midfielder Nodar Mammadov played his 50th game for Gabala appearing to be also 19th having such a jubilee.

 - another Gabala hero other than Nodar is Elmar Bakhshiyev having his 10th match in the club. It was his 250th league match.

- allowed Vurghun Huseynov to have his fourth experience as a captain for Gabala sharing the same title with Sasha Yunisoghlu and Samir Mammadov, who are staying on the 13 tier.
