Today"s guest of veterans is coach Huseyngulu Guliyev. He was born on 11 may 1972 in Baku. Guliyev started to his football life since 1978 played for youth groups and national team. His first-ever professional club is Termist before he played for Turan, Khazri, (Buzovna), Shamkir (Shamkir), Baku Fahlasi (Baku), ANS-Pivani (Baku), Umid (Baku) and Neftchi (Baku). He went on as a coach for Gabala from 2006 and presently trains U-15.

-- How did you join soccer?

- I started from my 6 with my first coach Zabrodin. After 2 years, I kept going with Tofig Abbasov of UGIM. And one year later, my next coach was Yashar Babayev.
When I was in my 13 in 1985, I restarted with Kazbek Tuayev before I joined the professional coach.

 

 

-- How did your family feel about football?

-- There was no sportsman in our family but my father was fan for football. He much loved Neftchi and Dinamo Kiyev.

--How do you remember the first time you earned your own money from favorite career?

-- My first salary made up 193 Ruble in 1989. Then I felt really proud earning money when I played for Termist.
