Gabala”s last two matches in the premier domestic cup competition appeared to be notable with debuts of Bakhtiyar Soltanov, who recently joined in the team. The 12th-tour game against AZAL (3:3) was his first leg for Gabala before coming against Simurg (2:3) at home to score his first for the club. Soltanov, 25, was registered the 179th player of Gabala and reaches to be the 91st scoring for the team. He talks to gabalafc.az:

“Although I am new in the team, I feel no problem with adaptation as I knew most of domestic players in the squad. I will try and play better in further games. Scoring just after my debut game does not mean it is my best performance as the team did not win the match. But the all-important is victory. So I am having more potential and will try to show this for the coming games”.

Soltanov adds also about the 14th tour fixture against Neftchi:

“We are expected to face Neftchi and it is supposed to be a difficult show for us as the capital city”s team are really strong. But anyway we will come on the pitch just for victory and play in our best. Victory is much important for Gabala to break deadlock on our run in the league. I will push hard to scoring my next for the club in the away match and to be a part of the team on victory”.
