Gabala kickboxer Alim Nabiyev, challenging also for the Azerbaijan national team, shares his impression about his last Glory victory on Murthel Groenhart from Netherlands in Strasbourg, France. He says:
“I had prepared to this match for two to three months. First I started in Thailand then left to a training camp in Netherlands. My trainer Denis also was there, where I worked out for a month and half.
The opponent was really dangerous with his hard shorts. But I took a vital victory on him. My last loss affected not well to me when I fought over five rounds. I won in three rounds but the referees gave the victory to him. After this defeat, I changed my club and now I’m in one of the best kickboxing clubs. I see and feel warm viewer support.
I’m going to challenge against Glory champion Sedrik Dumbia, who I defeated last year. My target is to take this match and bring the Glory belt to Azerbaijan. I will push hard until I hit my target.
I was born in Ukraine and fought there. But I could not see a warm viewer support there. Now I’m in my own native land and see real care. It’s proud to see lift up my national flag. It’s possible to gain a Glorry champion title with such a warm support.
