The 3rd tour of the Topaz Premier League was notable for Gabala with the first away win (2:0) in the season. The winner goal of the show was scored by vice captain Ruslan Abishov coming on his 5th match for the club and hitting his debut goal. His name arrived to be 88th in the list of players scoring for Gabala. He talks to gabalafc.az:

"It was really difficult for both sides with the exhausting hot. We had watched Baku"s performances and analyzed it well. Their team made up young players.

The most important for us was the result and we could take the victory. We best during the half but then in the second period we stepped up the pressure and hit the target”.

I am really happy opening my scoring for Gabala. I tried much for this in previous matches but it could not work out. Now I kept the way up, pushed hard to scoring goal is with my teammates in the closing minutes. I will try and score more goals for the upcoming matches to make Gabala fans happier. It does not matter that you are a defender, midfielder or striker as all aim to score. It is really pleasure to feel a good result.

Now we are going to face AZAL and the team will come on the pitch just for victory as in the previous events. We won in the last 2 matches and are progressing into better results game by game. Now we just want to take our 3rd victory in a row".
