Gabala put an end to the winless streak of the last 4 matches taking the 1:0 victory over Azraz Nakhchivan in the 2nd tour of the Topaz Premier League. It was our first win 92 days after beating Sumgayit 3:1 on 17th May 2014. Gabala also could break the goalless period of 339 minutes that ended 87 days after making 1:1 at the Azerbaijan Cup final on 22nd May 2014. This goal and victory wrote first remarkable results of head coach Dorinel Munteanu.

The first victory of the season arrived in the jubilee 80th home win of the red-black team in their 157th game.
