Gabala took 1:3 away victory of the Azerbaijan Cup semifinal against Inter Baku.

Gabala started faster and their early attacks forced the opponents to fouling in the box led to penalty. Daniel Subotic’s powerful shot past the Inter keeper – 1:0. This was Gabala’s jubilee 80th goal in their 51st cup experience.

Just three minutes later, Inter leveled with Adrian Skarlatake.

The goal prompted Roman Grigorchuk’s red-black squad to step up their inroads into the home defense. Inter backed on their back line and set up some counter attacks.

Subotic put Gabala one ahead again just two minutes after the restart. He was quick capitalizing on the lost ball after a kick by Ozobic. Then Rafael Santos’s goal was cancelled.

The visiting side kept the hosts unther sustained period of pressure and failed into another foul against Gabala led to penalty.
Premier League’s top scorer Filip Ozobic fired into the goal – 3:1.

Now the sides are going to face in the return match fixed to April 5th.
